I want to remember everything. Which is the driving force behind why I take so many photos and write so many, what sometime seems like, meaningless words. I make a lot of lists, scribbles and notes. Because when I think back over the past 21 years, there are so many things I don’t remember so many blank pages and I want to try to remember more of today than I do of yesteryear.

The other day Jeremiah and I were chatting pretty late into the night. We’re both fairly busy with school work, thus, we go to bed at 2 AM or later. He mentioned to me his plans on asking Kyndall’s dad for her hand in marriage. I was ecstatic. Two amazing people who love each other the way God intended for them to. Two people’s who’s love I admire and have aspired to. My brother, with a woman he deserves. Needless to say, it put a huge grin on my face and I fell asleep being so overwhelming happy for them.

Today, after asking her dad, he drove down here to ask her, she of course, completely unknowing, still in a state of believing he was saving for the ring. When he got here, she wasn’t home and she didn’t answer her phone. I was at work, texting back and forth with Jeremiah. I hurriedly signed on to Facebook to see if her status mentioned anything, it did not, but a friend of her’s had mentioned lunch. I told Jeremiah they may be at Panera. Sure enough they were so he staked out across the street. In the end, he of course, asked her and she said yes.

I guess I’m really writing all these words down, because these are the memories, the moments, the feelings and people that make me so grateful to be alive. To feel so much joy from someone’s happiness is fulfilling. Love is so empowering in all forms. I’m posting about Jeremiah and Kyndall because this is a momentous occasion for them and it deserves to be celebrated, congrulated and confetti’d about.
